Throughout 2009 Manly State School underwent significant refurbishment and upgrading of its school buildings and facilities. The school now boasts two, new, double storey buildings containing general learning areas, a refurbished street front building containing a library and computer lab, and a further refurbished building that is now a dedicated music block. A large school sports hall with canteen was completed in 2010. The school oval was also upgraded and now has underground rain water tanks used to maintain gardens and grassed areas. A covered adventure playground was also included in the upgrade and is much used and loved by our students.
Four prep classrooms front a levelled, synthetic turfed play area. A building housing the Manly outside of school hours care (MOSHC) and an administration building constructed in 2003 complete the Manly State School picture.
Manly State School is well maintained and cared for by our exceptional groundsman, Mr Schablon, and assisted by a crew of dedicated cleaners.
