The Fife band has been an integral part of music in Manly State School since 1936.
Fife lessons commence in year 3 (term 2). Lessons for all fife students are held once a week in the lunch break.
At the end of year 4 the children are officially placed in fife band. The band performs at several community functions throughout the year.
Positions for percussion are offered during years 4 and 5.
